WELCOME TO Wrington thru the Lens

Wrington Thru the Lens, is a community project bringing together photographs, postcards and images that tell the story of Wrington’s social and industrial history. Over the next few years, a group of local volunteers aim to gather and scan photographs borrowed from private collections and publicly available material, to create a digital archive of Wrington, as captured on camera. As the saying goes ‘every picture tells a story’, we aim to eventually create an e-book and publish a hardcopy, telling the stories behind the pictures. The project is in association with Wrington Local Historic Society and supported by Wrington Parish Council and local volunteers
